Lithuanian mobile operator has announced that it is providing LTE connectivity to 80 percent of the country's population now. Additionally, Omnitel began offering 4G + LTE-Advanced services in the five largest cities in the country in December. 

Three UK has 3.1 million 4G customers now, just 10-months on from its commercial launch, representing over a third of Three’s 8 million customers. Three began enabling customers in March with all subscribers eligible to access 4G at no extra cost.

Verizon and AT&T plan to enable VoLTE- to-VoLTE connections between Verizon Wireless and AT&T customers in 2015. Verizon introduced its Advanced Calling 1.0 services across the United States in September.  AT&T introduced VoLTE services in its initial markets earlier this year, and continues to expand to more markets across the United States.

Pakistan's cellular service provider Warid Telecom announced Ericsson as its technology partner in the roll-out of 4G LTE in Pakistan during GITEX Technology Week 2014. Ericsson is Warid Telecom’s sole supplier of 4G LTE deployment in Pakistan.

ZTE is demonstrating its 4G rail telecommunication solutions at GITEX and the Middle East Rail Technology Exhibition. Prior to the events, which take place in the Middle East, ZTE's 4G rail telecommunication solution was successfully implemented into the Wenzhou City Railway Line S1 project in China. 

UK carrier EE has launched 4G LTE network in a further 18 towns across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England. Less than two years since launch, 4G from EE now covers over 75% of the population across 281 large towns and cities and more than 2,500 villages and small towns.

OneAccess has announced an integrated LTE/4G router platform to enable telecom operators, Cloud and managed communication service providers to add LTE connectivity to the growing list of access technologies they can integrate on the multi-path WANs of SMB and enterprise customers.
