The wireless industry continues its march to an all-IP structure, with LTE networks ushering in the age of true high-speed, mobile broadband services. Voice over LTE is the final frontier in that march as carriers look to take advantage of their LTE deployments to carry voice traffic, freeing up precious spectrum resources dedicated to 2G and 3G, as well as the promise of advanced voice services for both consumers and enterprise customers.
