Malaysia's communications service provider Maxis Berhad (Maxis) unveiled two 4G LTE smartphones today, the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC One XL. These will be the first two smartphones to be activated on Maxis' LTE network. 

Malaysia's integrated communications service provider Maxis has launched 4G LTE services on first day of year. Maxis LTE Network is now available in selected parts of the Klang Valley including Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Damansara Utama, Desa Sri Hartamas, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Bandar Sunway and Cyberjaya following its midnight launch on 1 January 2013. 

Malaysia's communications service provider Maxis Berhad is ready to launch 4G LTE service following the allocation of the 2600 MHz spectrum band for 4G LTE by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on 5 December 2012.

Malaysia's lcommunications service provider Maxis Berhad has surpassed 5,000 3G sites spanning both East and West Malaysia.

Malaysian mobile communications service provider Maxis Berhad has successfuly conducted the 4G LTE trial and has demonstrated dowload speeds of up to 104 Mbps.
