About HSPA/HSPA+
HSPA (High speed packet access) is the next generation of mobile network technology that includes High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA). It extends and improves the performance of existing WCDMA protocols. Evolved HSPA also known as HSPA+ is an 3GPP standard defined in 3GPP release 7 and 8 of the WCDMA specification.
Intended Audience
Network & Telecom Engineers and Technical Staff involved in development, testing, and deployment requiring comprehensive details of HSPA/HSPA+ technology, procedures & operations.
Prerequisite
Although this course requires no previous knowledge or understanding of HSPA, a good understanding of UMTS technology would be beneficial.
