Canada's Rogers Communications has signed a new agreement with Switzerland's Swisscom to deliver bilateral LTE roaming to customers of both mobile service providers. As of July 31st, Rogers and Swisscomm customers travelling with a 2600 MHz device can have LTE service while in Canada or Switzerland.

Canada's Rogers Communications will introduce LTE in 44 markets this spring and intends to reach a total of 95 markets in 2013. Rogers will also be making its 2600 MHz LTE spectrum band available in all markets. Among the 44 LTE markets launching this spring will be Saint John, New Brunswick; Medicine Hat, Alberta; Sault Ste.

Canada's Rogers Communications has launched LTE networki in Moncton, New Brunswick. Rogers has invested $20M in its wireless network in New Brunswick over the past two years. Operator also has expanded its LTE network in Atlantic Canada, adding to cities including Halifax and St. John’s earlier.

Canada's wireless network operator, Rogers plans to expand to more than 25 additional cities this year.

Canada's Rogers Communications is offering LTE services in more cities in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding Vancouver.
