French operator SFR has introduced commercial LTE services in Paris. Nokia Solutions and Networks has provided network infrastructure for 4G LTE network on the 800 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands.

SFR, the French telecom operator, has launched LTE in Lille and revealed network roll out plan for the second half of 2013. Operator plans national coverage with LTE in 55 cities by the end of the year.

French carrier SFR has launched commercial LTE services in Paris La Défense. Operator has selected Nokia Siemens Networks as radio supplier to implement its 4G LTE network and upgrade its existing GSM and 3G networks in major French cities.

French mobile operator SFR plans to launch 4G LTE service on 28 November this year. The operator had earlier scheduled the launch in early 2013 but now it has advanced the launch date. SFR will introduce LTE first in Lyon followed by other cities.

French mobile operator SFR is offering free femtocells to all of its 10+ million 3G customers.
