Hi All,
i have one doubt. In pdcp integrity verfication there are two keys mentioned in spec KRRCint and KUPint. When KRRCint will be used and KUPint will be used? . but there is no integrity verification for user plane data.
3GPPi 36.300 definition
3GPPi 36.300 definition below
- KUPenc is a key, which shall only be used for the protection of UP traffic with a particular encryption algorithm. This key is derived by UEi and eNB from KeNB, as well as an identifier for the encryption algorithm.
- KRRCint is a key, which shall only be used for the protection of RRC traffic with a particular integrity algorithm. KRRCint is derived by UE and eNB from KeNB, as well as an identifier for the integrity algorithm.
