Boca Raton, FL, September 19, 2012 – Airspan Networks Inc., a leading provider of broadband wireless access networks, announced today that it has signed an OEM agreement with SEM4G Networks, a division of SEM Srl, an Italian based ICT technology solutions provider. Under the agreement, SEM4G will integrate Airspan LTE technology into its products and promote turnkey LTE solutions in several global markets.

SEM Srl, headquartered in Vimercate (Italy), with its SEM4G broadband wireless division, is a leading Italian developer and manufacturer of 4G systems.

The agreement initially focusses on Airspan 5 GHz LTE technology which allows SEM4G’s to serve its customers where the frequency band regulations have freed the 5 GHz band for 4G networks serving businesses and residents with high-speed, mobile broadband services
