Jasper Wireless to speak at the Internet of Things World Forum 2013
MOUNTAIN VIEW USA, 29 October 2013 – Jasper Wireless, the leading connected devices platform for machine-to-machine (M2M) and consumer electronics, today announced that it will share how operators and enterprises can maximize opportunities using the Internet of Things (IoT). As a leading authority on M2M, Jasper has been invited to present a keynote session at the upcoming Internet of Things World Forum in London (Wednesday 13 November, 2013 @ 9:50am ‘Learning from 2,500 Enterprises – What it Takes to Win Big in IoT’).
During the keynote session Cindy Patterson, Chief Revenue Officer at Jasper Wireless, will address the unique requirements enterprises have when rolling-out and managing connected devices and why understanding and meeting these requirements is key if mobile operators are to be successful in IoT. According to industry analyst IHS the number of global cellular M2M connections will more than triple from 116 million in 2012 to 375 million by the end of 2017. This represents a massive opportunity for enterprises and operators, however, competition will be fierce and taking full advantage of the market will depend on the key stakeholders’ readiness now, not in 2017. Cindy will explore how operators can enable enterprises to build, launch, manage and scale their connected device business enabling them to bring devices to market in weeks instead of months.
Jasper Wireless’s M2M platform, winner of the best cloud-based technology category in the GSM Association’s Global Mobile Awards at Mobile World Congress 2013, fully integrates with the mobile operator’s network to put the enterprise in control. The cloud-based platform enables enterprises to offer end-users a zero-touch, out of box experience at the lowest possible total cost of ownership with no upfront costs.
Jasper Wireless is the leading connected device platform vendor according to ABI Research and its platform is relied upon by over 2,500 enterprises from verticals ranging from automotive to energy and smart grid. In addition, Jasper partners with 14 mobile operator groups and over 100 operators worldwide. Jasper Wireless has the depth of experience required to discuss how operators can support enterprises via a proven platform designed to support continuous innovation.
