Leading Middle-East operator chooses Elitecore BSS for LTE roll-out
Mumbai, Dubai,– 22 April, 2013 - Elitecore Technologies, the global provider of OSS/BSS solutions enables a leading Middle-East operator to implement its LTE roll-out in coexistence with its ongoing WiMax services. Elitecore’s industry-compliant, single convergent BSS stack will cater to both prepaid and postpaid WiMax and LTE services, achieve performance optimization and operational efficiencies at minimum CapEx, speedily initiate new offerings, and enhance overall customer experience.
Says Dhaval Vora, VP, Product Management, Elitecore Technologies, “This BSS transformation project showcases Elitecore’s platform strength in simultaneously handling WiMax and LTE in the same eco-system, and also serves as a model on how WiMax operators may achieve complete transition to LTE and IMS in future. Such a transformation depends on faster alignment with existing eco-system where Elitecore’s upgradeable and flexible platform has a clear advantage since it enables new services creation without disturbing current plans, and with less deployment time.”
For achieving the LTE upgrade, Elitecore has added new components to its existing BSS stack like data and VOIP services through Provisioning and OCS which supports IMS over Ro/DIAMETER to enable service personalization and monetization. The platform will provide smart intelligence to fuel new offerings that would enable telecom service providers act as experience providers. Existing WiMax customers will be able to effortlessly add LTE under the same account.
The Elitecore platform benefits CSPs in meeting their strategic business goal and achieve operational excellence with a pre-integrated platform for Billing and revenue management along with Core session management offering a flexible framework to CSPs to addresses a wide range of access networks such as NGN, IMS, 2G, Wi-Fi, LTE, 3G and WiMAX with support for RADIUS, DIAMETER, SOAP, GSM-MAP and Proprietary.
