Bulgarian telecommunications operator Max Telecom launched LTE in the cities of Pernik and Blagoevgrad by replacing WiMax equipment with LTE. The migration process to LTE will be applied to all customers who are using the old network until the end of the year. With the network upgrade and the 4G/LTE coverage expansion, Max is giving its users the opportunity to test the latest technology available. Max now has 4G/LTE coverage in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Sliven, Pleven, Bansko, Hisarya, Velingrad, Pernik, Blagoevgrad, and the resorts Golden Sands and St. Constantine and Helena.
