NEC Exhibits its Latest Small Cell Solution Portfolio at Small Cells Americas
Dallas, 28 November 2012 - NEC Corporation (NEC), will exhibit a range of small cell products at Small Cells Americas, 3-4 December 2012 at The Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum, Dallas. These products cover the entire range of small cell applications for homes, enterprises, public spaces and outdoor areas.
Kazuya Hashimoto, vice president and executive general manager, NEC, will share his insight on the business rationale for deploying small cells as well as the benefits that can be achieved. The presentation will be held on 3 December at 13:00.
NEC exhibits at booth 15, where demonstrations include:
LTE small cell all-in-one eNB (MB4300)
NEC's compact LTE all-in-one eNB in combination with iPASOLINK SX for small cell backhaul enables operators to cost-effectively roll out LTE services, maximizing networks performance and quality of service (QoS) at the same time.
Outdoor small cell (FMA1630)
NEC's outdoor small cell provides mobile operators with a cost effective way of increasing network coverage and capacity in outdoor environments. It also enables operators to offload data traffic from the macro network in order to reduce their CAPEX and OPEX.
Small cells for enterprises
This Enterprise Radio Access Network (E-RAN) technology offers an alternative to traditional Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). It enables mobile network operators to deliver scalable indoor mobile access and application services to their large enterprise customers much more rapidly and cost-effectively.
Small cells for homes and offices (FP813 and FP1624)
NEC's latest indoor small cells for homes and offices include advanced "plug and play" functionality. They enable end users to install the small cells quickly and easily, with no need for professional field engineers, planning or optimization.
