RadiSys To Present On Mobile Network Security Challenges At LTE Summit 2011 India

HILLSBORO, Ore. - April 11, 2011 - RadiSys® Corporation (NASDAQ: RSYS), a leading provider of innovative hardware and software platforms for next generation IP-based wireless, wireline and video networks, today announced that it will present at LTE Summit 2011, to be held April 15, 2011 in Mumbai, India. LTE Summit 2011 will bring together industry leaders to collaborate and discuss how Long Term Evolution (LTE) will boost mobile broadband penetration in India. With the successful auction of 3G and Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) spectrum, Indian operators are reviewing their strategy and looking at the possibility of leapfrogging straight to 4G technology.

While LTE offers a number of network benefits, it also introduces new security threats and challenges to network operators. RadiSys LTE expert Barry Buxton will present the session, "3GPP Network Domain Security (NDS) Deployment Planning and Challenges." The presentation will focus on implementation and network use cases for two key security areas of LTE standards, 3GPP NDS standards and the I-WLAN Tunnel Termination Gateway (TTG).
