Saima Telecom Selects DOVADO TINY 4G/LTE Mobile Broadband Routers
Dubai Internet City, UAE / Kista, Sweden - March 8th, 2012 - Saima Telecom today announced that it is offering its customers the DOVADO TINY router to broaden the use of their 4G connections. The DOVADO TINY allows customers to insert their 4G/LTE USB modem and share the connection via Wi-Fi and Ethernet at very high speeds within their homes and businesses. This news follows on from Saima's commercial LTE network launch on December 9th 2011, serving customers in and around the nation's capital Bishkek, and providing a fiber-like experience with low latency and high bandwidth in either direction.
Since making its debut in June 2011 as the world's smallest 4G/LTE-capable USB router, the DOVADO TINY has been an instant success with 4G/LTE and 3G/DC-HSPA+ (42 Mbps) operators. Endorsed for its continuous firmware development, low support issues and ease of setup, it has proven key to a successful 4G/LTE deployment by providing customers with the means to share their Internet connection within the home or office, as opposed to using it with one computer at a time.
"We are very pleased to be able to suggest to our customers a simple, small and very reliable device. The DOVADO TINY will help our clients with business critical Internet access demands and fully meets our concept as a converged FTTH, xDSL and LTE operator, thanks to DOVADO's connection backup functionality," said Ruslan Burangulov, CEO of Saima Telecom.
"We are extremely happy to team up with Saima Telecom, the first 4G/LTE operator outside of Europe to adopt the DOVADO TINY. Having witnessed the world's first 4G deployments only two years ago in Scandinavia, we are excited that it has now become a global standard, making its way into new markets each week," said Erik Arthur, CEO of DOVADO FZ-LLC. "With our quick turnaround time for new USB modems, subscribers worldwide will quickly recognize that the right gear to match their USB modem will always be a DOVADO router, regardless of where they are."
Optimized specifically for mobile broadband, the DOVADO TINY draws on the heritage of several years of software development in Kista, Sweden. DOVADO continuously develops new USB modem compatibility, improved Internet uptime and simplicity; unlocking the potential for new features, enhancements and improvements. One major industry milestone in DOVADO's development is the option of automatically repowering the inserted USB modem within the DOVADO TINY in the event of any unexpected interruptions. As a leading Scandinavian brand, DOVADO has shipped well over a hundred thousand routers during the past two years into its domestic region via mobile operators and retail since the recent subscriber explosion in growth of 3G and 4G.
