Small Cell Forum Industry Awards 2013 Shortlists Announced
London, UK – 9th May 2013 – The Small Cell Forum, the independent industry and operator association that supports small cell deployment worldwide, today announced the shortlists for the Small Cell Industry Awards 2013. The awards recognise the outstanding achievements and innovations from within the small cell community. The winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner on Wednesday 5th June 2013 at Small Cell World Summit in London.
This year’s awards follow on for what has been an outstanding year for the Small Cell Forum and the industry as a whole. With the announcement of Release One of its new Release Programme earlier this year, the Forum and its members is helping to drive the next wave of small cell deployments. The successes of the industry this year was reflected in both the quality and volume of entries with more received than ever before from some 40 different companies.
The awards were open to the whole industry – members and non-members alike – and attracted entries from vendors and operators the world over, representing the entirety of the mobile ecosystem. The awards were judged independently of the Small Cell Forum by a group of leading analysts, journalists and industry experts.

Indeed our members and non-members competing for the awards are contributing to the mobile industry to an extent that we could only have hoped a few short years ago,” said Graham Wright, Small Cell Forum CEO. “Small cells are no longer a disruptive technology; they are a cornerstone of mobile network infrastructure. I look forward to the awards dinner in June where we will be able to celebrate the industry’s successes and honour all those who have worked to keep driving it forwards.”
