This panel discussion will be held April 12 from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. The panelists will examine fixed line and broadband status in the region, the role of LTE in the fixed telephony market, and spectrum and pricing issues.

    * "Strategies for Scaling the LTE Signaling and Control Plane"
This presentation will be held April 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. Ventimiglia will discuss the signaling protocol evolution from SS7 to Diameter, scalability requirements for LTE networks, inter-carrier Diameter roaming and network analytics.

Tekelec offers a unique and innovative LTE portfolio – including the Diameter Signaling Router – that provides operators with the end-to-end tools to scale their data core to manage traffic increases, ensure a quality user experience, and collect the information needed to monetize the mobile data boom.

Last month, Tekelec was recognized by Frost & Sullivan with the "New Product Innovation Award, Diameter Routing" for its superior ability to help operators overcome Diameter signaling challenges in LTE networks. Frost & Sullivan selected Tekelec's DSR as the best product to manage Diameter performance, scalability, security, cost and interoperability needs.
