  • UK's O2 has announced a range of 4G tariffs with data bundles for its upcoming 4G network. From 29th August, O2 will offer 4G tariffs starting at £26 a month, which all include unlimited minutes and texts, bigger data bundles from 1GB – 8GB, free access to 9,000 O2 Wifi hotspots.

  • UK carriers EE and Three have agreed to build the next stage of their basic 4G networks together, including sharing mast infrastructure and transmission costs, according to the Financial Times. Both operators plan to invest a combined £1bn to complete their telecoms infrastructure.
