Vodafone Australia has switched on 4G LTE network in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle and Wollongong as announced earlier. Vodafone holds 2 X 20MHz contiguous spectrum and has demonstrated trial speeds up to 100Mbps earlier.
Ericsson has announced that it has been selected to manage operations and maintenance of the MBNL radio access network encompassing the Three UK and EE networks. Mobile Broadband Network Limited (MBNL) is the joint venture company owned by Three UK and EE.
ZTE has announced completion of end-to-end voice-over TD-LTE (VoTD-LTE) call in partnership with China Mobile and Marvell Technology Group. The VoTD-LTE call was conducted on China Mobile’s network in Guangzhou.

Canadian telecom operators, Videotron and Rogers have announced to build out and operate a shared LTE wireless network in the province of Québec and the Ottawa region. Rogers already have LTE footprint across Canada, including Montreal, Ottawa and Québec City.
