Quortus Appoints Simon Saunders to Technical Advisory Panel
Guildford, UK - 14 November 2012 - Quortus, the company transforming core network functionality into edge-based applications, today announced that Dr Simon Saunders, founding Chairman of the Small Cell Forum (formerly Femto Forum) and independent wireless communications specialist with Real Wireless, has joined the company in a part time advisory capacity. Simon will work with the company to define its commercial and technical strategy as its EdgeCentrix software mobile core technology is increasingly used to create intelligent edge-based networks.
As founding Chairman of the Small Cell Forum – a position held for over five years – Dr Saunders is one of the most respected voices in his field. He has an unequalled wealth of commercial and technical experience in the small cell space. Simon has also held senior appointments with Philips and Motorola as well as a seat on the Ofcom Spectrum Advisory Board. A co-founder of the Real Wireless consultancy, he has also advised a number of leading organisations including BT, the BBC and O2.
