Microsoft Surface 2 with LTE Launched on AT&T’s Network
Beginning today AT&T is offering Microsoft Surface 2 with LTE connectivity. Surface 2 (AT&T 4G LTE), a 64GB mobile broadband-ready version of Surface 2, is now available to purchase for $679 USD (ERP) in the US market.
Along with cellular connectivity, all of the Surface 2 features are included: the increased speed and battery life, the dual-position kickstand, Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 RT and Outlook 2013 RT and the full HD screen. Weighing less than 1.51 lbs., Surface 2 (AT&T 4G LTE) features 64 GB of internal memory and a microSDXC card slot for up to an additional 64 GB. Along with 5 megapixel rear-facing camera or 3.5 megapixel front-facing camera, device supports full-size USB 3.0 port and Bluetooth 4.0
AT&T customers can add the Surface 2 (AT&T 4G LTE) to an existing Mobile Share plan for $10 per month, or choose from a variety of standalone plans. Both pre-pay and post-pay customers can have 250MB for $14.99 per month, 3GB for $30 per month, or 5GB for $50 per month.
In addition, on purchase of Surface 2 (AT&T 4G LTE) customer will receive 200 GB of free OneDrive(formerly known as SkyDrive) storage for two years.
