Sprint Nextel has reached a $1 billion credit agreement to finance equipment purchases from Ericsson. The company announced this credit facility with Deutsche Bank and a syndicate of other banks today.

LG Electronics have sold three million LTE smartphones globally. LG plans to significantly expand its LTE smartphones availability in 2012 as the number of countries offering LG LTE smartphones to grow from 10 to 20 markets by the end of the year.

French mobile service provider Bouygues Telecom has chosen Ericsson to launch VoLTE services to its live, commercial 4G/LTE network in France. The service will provide HD (high definition) voice conversations and enriched IP-based communication services such as video calling over LTE. 

ZTE has announced an LTE trial agreement with Indonesian mobile operator PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel).

NEC Corp has started working on developing a residential femtocell for LTE according to a Light Reading article.  

ZTE is selected by operator Hi3G to supply LTE infrastructure equipment. Hi3G plans to build the LTE TDD/FDD dual-mode networks in Sweden and Denmark.

Huawei plans to launch LTE TDD wireless broadband router, the Huawei B593, through Saudi Arabian operator Mobily in October this year.
