March 31, 2010 - Zain Bahrain today showcased the region’s first LTE call, setting new standards for the telecoms sector by achieving a download data speed of 70 Mbps.

Lithuanian mobile operator Omnitel has opened LTE network for smartphones in the city of Vilnius. LTE services are now available to customers with HTC, Nokia, Sony and Blackberry 4G smart phones.
