Nokia and Zain Saudi Arabia are deploying Nokia's FastMile technology to provide better broadband speeds to Zain's customers. The deployment, the first for Nokia FastMile in the Middle East and Africa region, follows a successful trial of the technology which recorded speeds of 20 Mbps

HiBeam Internet & Voice has selected Huawei to provide its Radio Access Network to support their services in select markets in the Midwest and Southeast.

LG Electronics have sold three million LTE smartphones globally. LG plans to significantly expand its LTE smartphones availability in 2012 as the number of countries offering LG LTE smartphones to grow from 10 to 20 markets by the end of the year.
