Canada's TELUS has launched LTE network in Brantford and St. John’s. Operator plans to provide LTE services in additional communities in the coming months.  Today’s announcement is part of the company’s $650 million and $8.4 million investments in Ontario and Atlantic Canada respectively over the next three years

Canada's Rogers Communications has launched LTE networki in Moncton, New Brunswick. Rogers has invested $20M in its wireless network in New Brunswick over the past two years. Operator also has expanded its LTE network in Atlantic Canada, adding to cities including Halifax and St. John’s earlier.

Japan's SOFTBANK MOBILE has selected Nokia Siemens Networks to supply, deploy and integrate its 4G, FDD LTE network. SOFTBANK MOBILE expects to offer LTE services in autumn 2012. Nokia Siemens Networks will also expand SOFTBANK MOBILE’s HSPA+ network to enable new services using the recently allocated 900 MHz frequency band.

ZTE has signed an LTE network expansion contract with Hong Kong's mobile operator CSL. As part of the contract, ZTE will provide an extensive network of new base stations for CSL. In addition, ZTE will deploy its newest Uni-RAN-based, LTE-A-scalable R8884 base station for the first time.
