Hungarian carrier Magyar Telekom has started an extended network test of the LTE technology in the areas of Budapest.

Canada’s service provider TELUS has started offering LTE service in Bowmanville and Cornwall. With this expansion, TELUS’ 4G LTE service now covers more than 70 per cent of the Canadian population across approximately 170 markets.

The E-Plus Group will launch a TD-LTE field trial in Germany in Q1 2011. The trial is based on 2.6 GHz spectrum that E-Plus acquired in the German spectrum auction.
