AT&T expands LTE to new markets, adds new LTE Tablet
AT&T is set to launch LTE in six new markets on November 20. New markets are Charlotte, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Nov. 20 launches will expand AT&T LTE services to 15 markets total, meeting its 2011 market commitment. AT&T plans to reach 70 million Americans by year-end 2011.
AT&T also have introduced its second 4G LTE-enabled tablet for customers, the Samsung Galaxy™ Tab 8.9, an ultra-thin Android Honeycomb tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will be available on Nov. 20 for $479.99 with a two-year commitment. For a limited time, customers who select a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will receive a Samsung Galaxy S™ II Skyrocket or Samsung Galaxy S™ II smartphone at no cost. A two year agreement is required on the smartphone.

Design and develop SGW, PGW, and MMEi. Provide design integration with LTE RAN, eHRPD Core, IP Data Core, and Service Layer networks. Define and develop LTE EPCi topography. Develop Core Development Lab test strategy, schedule, and test cases, plan for testing. Develop Network Readiness Test test strategy, schedule, and test cases, plan for testing prior to Field introduction. Develop LTE Core capacity plans, roadmaps, and scalability designs.
Qualifications:
Expertise with LTE standards and technology and OEM network elements - core network products such as SGW, PGW, and MME
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge in IP routing protocols
Cisco Certification (CCIP/CCIE), and/or Juniper Certification (JNCIP/JNCIE) desirable
Four year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (Masters degree is desirable)
3-5 years relevant work experience with a telecommunications equipment
