TeliaSonera's LTE network expansion is on track in Sweden. Telia has added Västerås in its 4G network with promise to provide practical speeds of up to 80 Mbps.

Telia's 4G network is already available in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmo, Lund and Visby. At the end of 2010, the 4G network will be available at 28 locations in Sweden. In 2011, the plan is that Telia's 4G network will be available in 228 towns and vacation areas around the country.

Telia is currently offering different connection speeds for different needs, and with the ability to combine 4G and fixed broadband. Depending on the subscription, customers can choose from speeds with ranges 5-10 Mbps, 10-20 Mbps or 10-80 Mbps.
