April 7, 2010 - Sprint is getting ready to sell a new, faster version of its Airave device, according to documents filed with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

U.S. operator Sprint announced expansion of its 4G LTE network in 22 new cities including Miami, New Orleans, Raleigh, N.C., and Tampa, Fla. Sprint's LTE network is now serving 110 markets nationwide and expects to provide 200 million people with LTE by the end of 2013.

U.S. Cellular will be adding more than 1,200 4G LTE cell sites in 2014 and expanding existing 4G LTE service in 13 states. By the end of 2014, more than 93 percent of U.S. Cellular customers will have access to 4G LTE speeds.
