Nokia Siemens Networks has announced that company launched a LTE network for U.S. Cellular and its partner, King Street Wireless, in 11 markets covering select cities in Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia. Nokia Siemens Networks was selected by U.S.

South Korea's mobile service provider LG Uplus and Huawei will deploy WDM/OTN technology for common public radio interface (CPRI) backhaul on LG UpLus's LTE-Advanced network.

T-Mobile has launched LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) in the Czech Republic. Operator has deployed Carrier aggregation function by combining two bands in Mlada Boleslav to increase download speeds up to 225 Mbit/s for upload to 50Mbit/s.
