Telefonica will launch a new service called 'Mi Cobertura Movil' ('My Mobile Coverage') to expand coverage in households with a device similar to a femtocells.  This service would cost 9 euros per month and only requirement is to have an ADSL contract with Movistar.

To solve coverage issues in households, the operator will provide a new service using ADSL line to extend coverage within the home. The device requires a 3 Mbps connection in order to provide adequate service.

Vodafone Spain had also introduced commercially femtocells in Spain last month. Vodafone had also announced marketing of "Premium access for voice and data Vodafone Office" for their corporate clients.
