Danish Mobile operators TDC, Telia and Telenor joint venture, TT-Netvaerket have won the auction of 800 MHz frequency band. The 800 MHz frequency has a much wider range and useful for broad 4G rollout.

TeliaSonera's 4G LTE services are now available in 161 cities around Sweden. Last week, Telia opened 4G network in eight new locations.

TeliaSonera has launched commercial LTE network  in Lund, Sweden which became the fifth city with 4G coverage. LTE is already available in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Visby.

TeliaSonera Sweden (Telia) has launched commercial LTE services in Malmo, the fourth city to receive 4G coverage in Sweden.  There are now 228 locations in the Telia's deployment plan.
