SK Telecom has announced demonstration of a LTE-Advanced technology named 'Enhanced Inter-Cell Interference Coordination (eICIC)' under cooperation with Qualcomm and Nokia Siemens Networks.

Bhutan Telecom plans to deploy 4G LTE service capability in Thimphu. Initially, operator intends to deploy a site each in Chubachu and Motithang. It is expected that customers will be able to avail the service within 0.5-1 km radius from these sites.
