AT&T and Audi of America have announced data plans for the new 2015 A3 sedan to provide in-vehicle 4G LTE data connectivity.  The data plans start at $99 for a 6-month plan with 5 Gigabytes of data and $499 for a 30-month plan  with 30 GB.

Nokia Siemens Networks has successfully held a live demo of LTE In Jakarta, ranging from HD video play, download HD video to a voice conversation.

Optus has selected Nokia Siemens Networks to modernize its mobile network, refarme the 900 MHz GSM frequency band, and provide infrastructure and services for LTE rollout in Sydney and Perth. In addition, Nokia Siemens Networks is supplying LTE core to Optus.

NEC and Cisco have entered in to a strategic relationship in the construction and sale of commercial LTE networks for service providers.

Hong Kong's operator CSL has launched commercial 1800MHz/2600MHz dual-band 4G LTE network for its premium brand 1O1O. Operator launched its 4G LTE mobile network in Hong Kong in November 2010 and already covers 90 per cent of the population.

Uganda's telecom operator MTN has launched 4G LTE network in country. MTN’s LTE service will initially be available in greater Kampala, with other towns to follow in the very near future.
