Clearwire expects to launch two 4G WiMAX smartphones by the end of 2010. Clearwire did not much provide much details about their features.

Clearwire however said that 4G handset from Samsung would be an Android-based 3G/4G/WiFi device, optimized for heavy video and video communications use.

HTC handset would be 3G/4G/WiFi enabled as well.

Earlier in March, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse had announced the HTC Evo 4G, a powerful Android smart phone, the first 4G device of its kind. The device will sport a 480 x 800 4.3-inch screen, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8 megapixel camera and an HD camcorder and an extra 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
