Polish service provider Cyfrowy Polsat has announced completion of LTE testing with Consumers on 31 August 2011. Company expects to provide the commercial LTE service soon. 

Cyfrowy Polsat started LTE test with selected consumers earlier this year and offered free use of the 100 GB data per month.

Operator used IPWireless USB modem - speed 1000 for tests, which supports 1800 MHz frequency. During testing of consumer services were provided 10 MHz channel, allowing the modem to work at speeds up to 73 Mb/s downlink and up to 25 Mb/s in uplink.
