German spectrum auction reached €191.4m in first week

April 19, 2010 - The German mobile spectrum auction gained EUR191.4 million in its first week, German network regulator Bundesnetzagentur said Friday, and analysts say proceeds from the entire auction could reach up to EUR8 billion.
After the first 35 rounds in five days all 41 bids from Deutsche Telekom AG, Vodafone PLC, Telefonica SA's O2 and Royal KPN's E-Plus totaled EUR191.4 million.
