ABU DHABI, UAE – April 30, 2014 – Lightbridge Communications Corporation (LCC), a global leader in advanced wireless, wire-line voice and data turnkey services announced today that it has been awarded implementation of a network modernization project by a leading OEM vendor for a tier 1 telecom operator in the United Arab Emirates.

Under the new agreement, LCC will upgrade the existing wireless networks to LTE. The modernization project will cover more than 1400 sites in the south eastern part of the country and will include site surveys, swap and upgrades to existing GSM and UMTS sites as well as implementation of new LTE sites in the network.
