Huawei and the mobile operator LG Uplus have established a Mobile Innovation Center (MIC) in Seoul. On July 30, 2014, LG Uplus and Huawei signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to mark the announcement at the LG Uplus head office in Seoul.

The MIC will enable LG Uplus to use Huawei’s solutions and products to improve its ability to offer the advanced, high-quality and cost competitive services to customers.

Companies expect the partnership to contribute significantly to the development of the country’s ICT industry, and deliver the most advanced LTE products and innovative 5G solutions to people in South Korea in the future.
