17 Aug 2009 | Metro PCS has said it intends to deploy LTE in 2010, soon after Verizon ( VZ - news - people ) Wireless rolls out the technology. Compatible handsets will follow soon, in late 2010 or early 2011, so consumers can tap into LTE's higher speeds.
The partnership remains strong, says Metro PCS Chief Operating Officer Tom Keys.
