Argentine mobile operator Telecom Personal has announced the launch of a LTE trial in the Cordoba, Argentina with Huawei.

LTE trial is expected to reach peak download speed of 50Mbps and 25Mbps in uplink. Tests will include high-definition video streaming, video calls, file transfer speed, among other applications.

The list of equipments that make up the experimental network include two 4G base stations, network control and packet switching of small scale, a subscriber database, laptops, USB modems, LTE prototype terminals and an outlet for high-speed internet .

Earlier this year in July, Personal and Ericsson had launched LTE trial in Puerto Madero area and reported maximum download rates of up to 50 Megabits per second.
