RadiSys To Present on Next-Generation Networks At ABI Forums' 4G Networks: LTE & WiMAX Conference

April 13, 2010 — RadiSys Corporation, a leading provider of innovative hardware and software platforms for next generation IP–based wireless, wireline and video networks, today announced that it will participate in the ABI Forums' 4G: LTE & WiMAX Conference to be held April 15–16, 2010 in Hong Kong, China. Anthony Ambrose, RadiSys General Manager and Vice President, will present the ways that the next generation of AdvancedTCA platforms, ATCA 4.0, will enable applications that meet telecom customers' demands.

In the face of rapidly changing worldwide economic, demographic and telecom service usage trends, service providers are increasingly looking to next–generation networks, such as LTE and WiMAX, to provide increased bandwidth to meet user demand. This session will relay how ATCA 4.0 is supporting the evolution from 10G to 40G platforms and allowing next–generation networks to smoothly scale to higher performance as bandwidth demands continue to grow. Ambrose will detail deployment strategies for ATCA 4.0 for 4G networks and video applications.
