Slovak Telekom has acquired 2 x 10 MHz spectrum in 800 MHz, 2 x 40 MHz spectrum in 2 600 MHz FDD and 50 MHz spectrum in 2600 MHz TDD. For acquired spectrum Slovak Telekom has paid altogether 60 846 000 EUR. 

Operator has already deployed the LTE network in full commercial mode in November 2013. With the additional spectrum, operator plans to extend its broadband strategy to offer the best data services on the Slovak market. with the new spectrum operator will immediately start covering both Bratislava and Košice with full-speed LTE. 

Slovak Telekom currently provides LTE network to 23.7% coverage of Slovak population. LTE is currently available in 31 Slovak cities and surroundings running on 1800 MHz.
