Namibia's telecommunications service provider, Telecom Namibia has launched commercial 4G LTE mobile broadband services in key areas of the country. The 4G LTE services are available in the capital Windhoek and surrounding areas, as well as Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Langstrand and Henties Bay at the coast and Ondangwa, Ongwediva, Oshakati, Ohangwena and Oshikango in the north of the country

Operator's Launch products will include both Pre and Post Paid Offers. For pre-paid TN Mobile users, operator is offering a LTE USB dongle modem bundled with 500MB data for N$298. For post-paid, operator has multiple LTE packages. LTE 10 GB subscription is charged at N$398 whereas unlimited LTE data package costs N$998 with Fair Usage Policy. When a subscriber on the unlimited package utilized 90GB (month’s cycle) thereafter the download speed is throttled from 100Mbps to 512kbps.
