The world’s first contract for deliveries of 4G modems to be used by end customers has been signed between TeliaSonera and Samsung. TeliaSonera’s goal is to be the first operator in the world to launch 4G on a commercial basis.
“The 4G modems from Samsung will play a very important role in our 4G launch in Sweden and Norway,†says Kenneth Karlberg, President and Head of Mobility Services, TeliaSonera. “We look forward to sharing Samsung’s world leading mobile experience when offering our customers a whole new way of enjoying mobility services.â€
