Vodafone Australia is now inviting new customers across metropolitan Australia onto its new LTE network. Earlier Operator has launched LTE services to existing customers on 12th June 2013 with coverage in selected major metro areas of Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong.

Operator is also expanding its current LTE coverage footprint and by the end of the year plans to triple the number of 4G network sites.

Chief Network Officer Benoit Hanssen said the network’s 20MHz wide-band spectrum holdings meant Vodafone was able to offer its customers some of the fastest speeds available across mainland Australia.
