Vodafone is prepared to launch LTE network very soon in Portugal. Vodafone will deploy 4G around the country, with the initial coverage available in thirteen district capitals - Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Guarda, Coimbra, Castelo Branco, Leiria, Lisbon , Santarém, Setúbal, Faro, Funchal and Ponta Delgada. 

The 4G LTE coverage will be expanded later, gradually, the other urban areas and the rest of the country

Vodafone has introduced two new tariffs, Best Net 50 4G, with a monthly fee of € 49.99, and Best Net 4G 100 with a monthly fee of € 59.99. The tariff Best Net 50 4G speeds up to 50 Mbps (download) and 25 Mbps (upload), while the 100 Best Net 4G raises these values to 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload.
