Yota has announced introduction of LTE Advanced technology in select LTE base stations in Moscow. According to operator, it will provide data rates up to 300 Mbit/s on the user's devices. Yota had launched commercial LTE network in Moscow earlier this year.

LTE Advanced technology is currently implemented in 11 base stations of operator's LTE network. The first consumer devices that support LTE Advanced, will be available in the first half of 2013. At this point, Yota Networks will deploy technology across its commercial network.

Huawei had supplied YOTA Networks with end-to-end SingleRAN LTE/EPC solution and built the commercial LTE network on 2.6GHz.
