ZTE and 3 Sweden today presented a live interactive video demonstration using TD-LTE technology at Mobile World Congress 2012. The ZTE booth at the Barcelona is connected with a 3 Sweden store in Stockholm for this demo.

"We expect that other European operators will sit up and take notice of what this dual-mode network can deliver. This network fully indicates the practical use of the mature LTE multi-mode convergent solution," said Jörgen Askeroth, CTO of 3 Sweden.

In December 2011, 3 Sweden and ZTE announced LTE FDD / TD-LTE dual-mode commercial network which is now in commercial use in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö in Sweden. 3 Sweden had signed an LTE network commercial contract with ZTE in March 2011.
