Hey guys. Long story short, I am taking a wireless communications course at my university as an elective for my IT degree, and the professor who is foreign used to be a 3G engineer. There is a big language barrier. The final assignment is a research paper on a subject in wireless. I have written about the air interface and physical layer of LTEi-Advanced.
I'm looking for some information about Multiple Preparation during the handover. I've found different information and some precise that's allowed and some that's prohibited.
Does anybody have some information about that ?
I would like to ask you what the MeasObject is and how it is linked with frequencies for the respective eutra utra and geran technologies and how it is linked with the MeasurementIdentityConf,ReportConfig instances.
Can you please suggest me a book or a link I can read that explains that?
can anyone tell me

If your operator is set to launch (or already has launched) 4G, how will they be measuring your experience to ensure you are 100% happy with the service you are receiving?
The E-UTRANi consists of eNBs, providing the E-UTRA user plane (PDCP/RLC/MACi/PHY) and control plane (RRCi) protocol terminations towards the UEi. The eNBs are interconnected with each other by means of the X2i interface.
