Wireless infrastructure solution provider Radisys and AirHop Communications, a developer of advanced RAN intelligence software, have integrated AirHop’s eSON software with Radisys’ Trillium LTE TOTALeNodeB solution and Broadcom Corporation’s BCM617xx Series small cell silicon.

Vodafone Germany has conducted live tests with LTE Broadcast in collaboration with Ericsson and Qualcomm. and Samsung. The trial took place at Borussia Mönchengladbach's stadium on Saturday 22 February, when they played 1899 Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

South Korea's SK Telecom has started expanding installation of base stations to use 10MHz bandwidth from 2.1GHz band for LTE from May 7 in certain areas in Seoul, Gwangju and Busan. The company already built an LTE test-bed for 2.1GHz band in Busan last February.

Telefonica Germany has expanded it's LTE product range and now offering plan called O2 Business LTE. O2 Business LTE can be booked starting on October 5. 

KazakhTelecom has launched LTE network in Astana and Almaty in Kazakhstan. 4G LTE services are being offered by ALTEL, KazakhTelecom JSC affiliated company and national operator.

Telefonica Mexico is deploying LTE in the country  through its Movistar brand. The LTE service will be available from October this year. The announcement was made by Juan Antonio Abellán, CEO of Telefónica Mexico.
