Poland’s mobile carrier P4 and BICS, a global wholesale carrier for voice, mobile data and capacity services. have announced the extension of their long-term partnership with the launch of LTE roaming on P4’s network through BICS’ IPX platform.

Huawei and China Mobile held a successful demonstration of international HD voice and video calls between China Mobile's VoLTE trial networks in Chengdu and Hangzhou and South Korea Operator's VoLTE networks recently.

UK operators Vodafone and O2 have launched their commercial LTE services in country today. Vodafone's LTE network is currently available in London where as O2's LTE network is available in London, Leeds and Bradford. 

Russian mobile broadband company Yota has signed a deal with the country’s main network operators for development of 4G telecoms services.

Telefonica Mexico is deploying LTE in the country  through its Movistar brand. The LTE service will be available from October this year. The announcement was made by Juan Antonio Abellán, CEO of Telefónica Mexico.

Sri Lanka’s telecom service provider, Dialog Broadband Networks (DBN) has launched Commercial 4G Services with TD-LTE technology in the city of Colombo. DBN is the fixed telecommunication Services arm of the Dialog Axiata Group. 

Telefonica Germany plans to kick off its new generation of mobile Internet with LTE mobile on 3rd July. O2 LTE will initially be available in the high-speed areas Nuremberg and Dresden, closely followed by Munich and Leipzig.
